The Certificate programme is an ideal introductory course for those interested in a career in health and safety as well as for managers and supervisors with health and safety responsibilities. With in-depth focus on the things that matter, the NEBOSH International General Certificate covers the core skills you need, managing health and safety, controlling hazards, measuring success and understanding key international standards, wherever in the world you work. The IGC course is of 68 hours duration with 53 hours of private study in three units. There are no entry requirements for this course.

International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (IGC)
Award in Health & Safety at Work (HSW)
This introductory programme focusses of the basic principles of health & safety including
understanding risk assessments and control strategies and applying these control strategies
to a number of common workplace hazards, including fire, electrical, transport and manual
handling. It is ideally suited for managers, team leaders and supervisors as well as workers
and operators. A practical risk assessment gives you the opportunity to put into practice the
knowledge gained during the course. The course is of 24 hours duration. There are no entry
requirements for this course.

Health, Safety and Environment in the Process Industries (HSEP)
The NEBOSH Health, Safety and Environment in the Process Industries is designed to help both employers and employees demonstrate competence in general health and safety, process safety and environmental management. The qualification covers the foundations of process safety as well as common risks and controls in the process safety industry. The course is of 38 taught hours and 6 hours of private study, There are no entry requirements.
Environmental Management (EM)
A globally recognised qualification for those who have Environmental Management responsibilities or anyone wishing to have a career in this area. The NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management covers the practical issues of managing environmental risk. The syllabus takes a risk management approach, based around best practice and international industry principles of environmental management. The course is of 37 hours duration and 33 hours of private study. There are no entry requirements.
International Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Operational Safety (IOGC)
The International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety is aimed primarily at managers, supervisors and health and safety advisers with safety responsibilities in the oil and gas industry. The qualification focuses on operational process safety and is intended to enable learners to apply and implement effective process safety management across all areas of their operation, anywhere in the world. The course is of 34 hours duration and approximately 20 hours of private study. The entry requirements are health and safety experience, or work in the HSE department of an oil and gas organization or completed NEBOSH IGC.
ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
Why should you attend?
ISO 45001 is the first global Occupational Health and Safety Management System standard that replaces OHSAS 18001. The ISO 45001 Foundation training enables you to learn the basic elements to implement and manage an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S MS) as specified in ISO 45001. During this training course, you will be able to understand the different modules of an OH&S MS, including the OH&S MS policy, procedures, performance measurements, management commitment, internal audit, management review, and continual improvement.

FPSO & Oil Rig Safety Management Program
Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessels, or FPSOs, are offshore production facilities that house both processing equipment and storage for produced hydrocarbons. The basic design of most FPSOs encompasses a ship-shaped vessel, with processing equipment. After processing, an FPSO stores oil or gas before offloading periodically to shuttle tankers The Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel Liza Destiny presently operates in the Exxon Mobil-operated Stabroek block off Guyana. It is therefore imperative that any suppliers, contracted service providers, government ministry regulators, emergency response personnel, HSE Professionals and even members of the public looking to gain employment in the energy sector must have a vast understanding of technical, safety and operational aspects of this vessel.
Course description:
Become Certified in FPSO Operations! This in-depth UK certified course equips personnel with the technical capacities and theoretical knowledge to make them competent and certified when working on board FPSO vessels. Some of the areas of study covered in modules:

Conduct mock auditing exercises of FPSO’s. Developing Risk Assessments for FPSO’s and exercises that aid in understanding the Safety Processing Operations on board the FPSO according to international standards and guidelines.

There are three courses that will be undertaken to receive the Certificate in Graphic Design and Photography (CGDP) at Nations:
ENTRY REQUIREMENT:
• Sound Secondary education (16 and over)
• Mature adults with creditable work experience and passion for
graphic design and photography
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME?
The purpose of this programme is to educate and develop entrepreneurs and professionals with the skills and competencies in Graphic Designing and Photography to establish their own business and/or to go on to meaningful careers in the field within the public and private sectors.
CONTACT HOURS:
Each course will be covered in 16 contact hours and culminates with a final practical examination.
